Account Manager

Your role

As an Account Manager you will manage projects for a wide portfolio of accounts, using Camden’s lean processes and management tools such as File Maker Pro and Asana. You will also focus on educating our customers about our services. We are building solutions that will change the advertising capabilities of bilingual advertisers, SMEs, and professional organizations in Toronto. We are looking for hardworking, talented people who will help us drive that message into the market. You likely have experience in a client-facing role, preferably at an agency. You have a track record of building strategic relationships with clients and growing business. The Account Management team sits in all three Camden offices, but regular video conferencing makes us feel like one.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own the client relationship on various accounts, and undertake strategic client counselling
  • Manage day-to-day activity with internal teams and external partners
  • Proactively contribute to the development and growth of client accounts, working with and mobilizing Camden resources across all three offices
  • Write and edit proposals and post-mortems, with a demonstrated understanding of clients’ business, marketing, and communication objectives
  • Manage the billing and profitability of your accounts
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Camden’s client service department

Ad Operations Specialist

Your role

As an Ad Operations Specialist, you will focus on the day-to-day operations of digital media buys (SEM, SMM, SEO and programmatic) to ensure the success of our campaigns. Working closely with the Director of Media, you will cultivate strong partnerships with internal teams and clients, making sure that all campaigns are set up for success and meet the clients’ objectives. You will support Account Managers from all three of our offices in retaining and scaling clients. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital ad operations and will be familiar with the ecosystems.

What you’ll be doing

  • Proactively monitor and optimize campaign performance, to ensure their good health and to identify opportunities to scale.
  • Investigate campaign concerns such as: under-delivery, poor performance, data discrepancies (impression, click, conversion, etc.), issues related to fraud and brand safety, site tag implementation and creative issues, and integrations with various third party systems.
  • Coordinate creative testing and implementation of all campaigns by collaborating with internal and external clients.
  • Act as a pivotal resource for platform support for both internal and external customers, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues they may encounter.
  • Prepare campaign performance reports and financial data as required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Camden’s digital ad products, trafficking processes, order fulfillment, cost management, etc.
  • Investigate new ad technologies and network enhancements (targeting options, cost reduction, etc.).

  • At least one year’s experience in digital ad operations
  • Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
  • A strong understanding of tags and GTM
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet deadlines
  • Experience or knowledge of Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and programmatic 
  • Great attention to detail, analytical and communication skills
  • Demonstrable passion for learning new ad technologies
  • Knowledge of French is a plus
